Honeyglaze (Vinyl)
Honeyglaze are a South London based, haiku-loving trio formed just before the first lockdown, and a combination of compelling live performances (including Green Man and support slots with Wet Leg, Geese and The Lounge Society) plus two standalone singles ('Burglar' and 'Creative Jealousy') has seen their profile rise rapidly and garner support from a plethora of early fans including Steve Lamacq, Matt Wilkinson and Wet Leg â who have all declared themselves in love with their intoxicating brand of poetic lyrics and impressive musicianship.
This year sees them release their debut, self-titled, album. In all it took two monthsâ of rehearsals, and all-but three daysâ worth of studio time to finish and record live, the eleven tracks that would come to not only be Honeyglazeâs debut album, but also the trioâs first ârealâ offering to date.
A self-described âopposite to a concept albumâ that sonically encapsulates the who, what, where and how of their individual circumstances coming together as one, Honeyglaze is a meticulously transformative feat of which, in their own eyes, is a âquite accurateâ sonic encapsulation of who the trio believe to be.
